| Bots vs Browsers: Public Bot, User Agent Database and Commentary | Thousands and thousands of User Agent strings, collected not only from their site, but also from a couple of external contributing websites, which shared their web log statistics - which is great.
No separate list of Agents, but you can get some summary information on the strings, based on the somehow limited detailed information they keep in their database. Keyword-based search for agent strings in their database, with top searches displayed. Plenty of articles - blog-style and RSS/Feed-style entries - on User Agents. They also have an online User Agent Test Track, with which it looks like you can impersonate a different User Agent string to access another site and see how it reacts. It's interesting, but that's also a feature that empowers any online user to mess-up and confuse other site owners. |

| UserAgentString.com | Conceptually, a great site, with a designed that has been used as basis for our own subsite. Their User Agent String Parser provides detailed information on each discovered pattern and direct links to external information. For each Agent, they also provide extensive lists of associated User Agent strings you can click on and parse.
The only reason why we decided to build our own subsite was their list of Agents is somehow limited, and there is no information about how this will grow over time. |
